The USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI) Annual Gala and Awards Ceremony will honor the graduating Class of 2021 scholars and their families. This year we will celebrate the USC Leslie and William McMorrow Neighborhood Academic Initiative’s 30th anniversary of serving as USC’s premier model for college access and success.
USC NAI provides opportunities for local middle and high school students to attend college through a seven-year, academically rigorous program. Students who complete the program, meet USC’s competitive admission requirements, and choose to attend USC, are awarded a full financial aid package minus loans. While many NAI scholars attend USC, others elect to attend other prestigious universities and colleges across the nation. All of these college-bound scholars are in critical need of financial support during their college careers.
For the safety and well-being of our scholars, families and guests, the 2021 Annual Gala and Awards Ceremony will be held on a virtual platform on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 4:00 PM.
The Honorees that evening will be:
Dr. Robert and Lisa Margolis and the Margolis Foundation
Our distinguished Keynote Speaker will be:
Dean Pedro A. Noguera, Emery Stoops and Joyce King Stoops Dean of the USC Rossier School of Education.
