As a major festival sponsor and host, USC presents live entertainment and author events in two venues: The USC Stage (at the center of campus) offers arts and entertainment; and an indoor venue in Wallis Annenberg Hall (ANN) features panels and conversations. USC Civic Engagement is dedicated to supporting healthy, vibrant and engaged communities around its University Park and Health Sciences campuses. To this end, USC supports families and youth, promotes small business development and economic growth and instills in its students a profound commitment to participate in civic life.

2:30 pm: “Esperanza Rising” with Pam Muñoz Ryan (Author)

3:30 pm: “Charlotte’s Web” with Tina Langill (24th STreet Theatre)

10:00 am USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative Awards Ceremony and Essay Contest Reading

11:00 am “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” with Brent Blair (USC Cinematic Arts Professor)

12:00 pm:  Music by Trio Ellas

1:00 pm: “Big Dog on Campus Learns to Be A Trojan” with Oliver Mayer (Author/USC Professor)

2:30 pm: “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” with John Thomas (Chief, USC Department of Public Safety)
