Kids’ Day
More than 100 seventh-graders from La Merced Intermediate School in Montebello spent March 6, 2009, on the USC Health Sciences campus, marking the School of Pharmacy’s twelfth annual Kids’ Day.
A community project of the school’s Skull and Mortar honorary service fraternity, Kids’ Day offers a blend of fun and serious information. Activities range from hula dancers, rap singers and raffles to informational sessions that encourage visiting students to study hard, stay out of trouble and consider careers in health care.
