Henry Thomas Hazard Park
In this photo, students from Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School play soccer in Henry Thomas Hazard Park. Named for the man who served as mayor of Los Angeles from 1889 to 1892, the park features a small running stream as well as plantings of old-growth pines and oaks, and is a popular spot for picnics and sports.
Hazard Park is located adjacent to USC’s Health Sciences campus - hence the university’s banner-draped Academic Medical Center looming in the background.
