Hospitals and Clinics
Hospitals
USC’s Health Sciences campus is home to three state-of-the-art hospitals:
- USC University Hospital, a 411-bed acute care hospital owned and operated by USC, offers medical expertise and sophisticated technology combined with a personalized approach to health care.
- The USC Norris Cancer Hospital, a 60-bed inpatient facility, is one of only a few hospitals in the nation dedicated exclusively to the care of patients with cancer.
- The Doheny Eye Institute, affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of USC, offers state-of-the-art vision care.
In addition, USC faculty physicians staff the nationally acclaimed Childrens Hospital Los Angeles and Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center, one of the largest teaching hospitals in the United States.
Outpatient Medical Services
Many USC physicians maintain private offices in Healthcare Consultation Centers I and II, both located adjacent to USC University Hospital on the Health Sciences campus. The centers feature services ranging from family medicine to PET/CT scans.
Beyond the university campuses, USC faculty physicians practice at several satellite locations, including the USC Westside Center for Diabetes, The Doctors of USC - Downtown and the USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center.
Oral Health Care
The USC School of Dentistry offers a full range of oral health services at two University Park campus locations:

Specialty clinics include dental hygiene, endodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, orofacial pain and oral medicine, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics. In addition, the center’s Special Patients Clinic serves patients with physical or mental disabilities.
- At USC’s state-of-the art Oral Health Center, patient care is delivered by expert faculty at rates comparable to those of other local dental offices.
Through its Office of Community Health Programs, the school also makes comprehensive oral health care attainable for people who otherwise would have difficulty obtaining services:
- The USC Mobile Dental Clinic provides services in remote or underserved areas where dental services are otherwise unavailable.
- The USC/QueensCare Mobile Dental Program brings mobile dentistry vehicles directly onto school grounds, providing comprehensive dental care and oral health education to more than 13,000 children at Los Angeles area elementary schools every year.
- The Neighborhood Mobile Dental Clinic provides screenings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants and oral health education to children in the USC Family of Schools.
- The school also operates outreach clinics at Union Rescue Mission (a nonprofit shelter for the homeless and indigent), Hollenbeck Palms (a nonprofit retirement community in Boyle Heights), the Maternal and Children/Adolescent Infectious Diseases and Virology Clinic in East Los Angeles and Magnolia Place at St. John’s Well Child and Family Center.
