Our Communities

The USC Mobile Dental Clinic, founded in 1968, has made dental care accessible to more than 81,000 children from low-income families, 85 percent of whom are seeing a dentist for the first time. The clinic provides more than $1 million worth of dental care each year at no cost to patients.

Health Care

The positive impact of USC's comprehensive health-related programs is felt throughout Los Angeles County and all of Southern California. The Keck School of Medicine of USC, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Dentistry, and university programs in occupational science and occupational therapy and in biokinesiology and physical therapy operate state-of-the-art health clinics, sponsor a wide range of community-based health fairs and other special events, and serve as a fertile training ground for USC-schooled physicians, pharmacists, dentists, and occupational and physical therapists.
