Our Communities

Members of the DDS classes of 2012 and 2013, together with residents of the USC Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC’s advanced endodontics program, worked with faculty members to provide restorations, extractions, root canal treatment and referrals for further care to nearly 130 disadvantaged military veterans as part of the eighth annual Compton Stand Down, organized by the nonprofit group U.S. Vets and held Sept. 24-26, 2011. Health Care

The positive impact of USC's comprehensive health-related programs is felt throughout Los Angeles County and all of Southern California. The Keck School of Medicine of USC, the School of Pharmacy, the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and university programs in occupational science and occupational therapy and in biokinesiology and physical therapy operate state-of-the-art health clinics, sponsor a wide range of community-based health fairs and other special events, and serve as a fertile training ground for USC-schooled physicians, pharmacists, dentists, and occupational and physical therapists.
