Education
Think USC, and you think best-in-class research university with a passionate dedication to the pursuit of learning. Extend that passionate dedication into the community, and you have the foundational philosophy behind USC’s drive to provide educational, cultural and developmental opportunities for every child who lives in our immediate neighborhoods.
Spanning topics from the arts to reading and writing to science and technology, USC faculty, staff and students have created programs that serve our communities’ children from preschool through well into college - helping ensure their success every step of the way.
And because students need support outside the classroom as well, USC’s programs strongly encourage families to get involved in their children’s education. While parents are engaged in helping their kids, the university helps them to expand their own horizons by offering instruction in areas such as financial and computer literacy.
